Mulberry Health invited medical professionals, family members, and the local community to join their staff in celebrating the completion of renovations in its memory care unit. The company marked the occasion with an open house and ribbon cutting.

“We are happy to welcome our guests to our renovated memory care unit this evening,” said Mark Wolfschlag, Administrator and President of Mulberry Health. “We are really pleased with the warm, home-like environment we have created along with new features for our residents to enjoy.”

The renovations allowed Mulberry Health to create a new lounge area where residents can watch television, listen to music or visit with family and friends. Other new features include:

  • Floor to ceiling windows in the dining area.
  • An expanded courtyard with scenic, rural views.
  • Fresh paint and new finishes in each resident room and throughout the unit.

“These renovations make our space much more current, and also allow us to do some new things like serving meals restaurant-style in our dining area,” said Wolfschlag.

Mulberry Health is the only locally owned and operated senior care organization in Greater Lafayette that offers memory care services in a secure environment. The unit can accommodate up to 35 residents.
