STARTING PAY
$15.00 per hour
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Mulberry Health takes pride in its exceptional, individualized, compassionate care and pristine environment. The Activities Assistant carries out appropriate resident Activity programs, using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the facility to enrich the lives of our residents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Carries out activities for residents based on their varied backgrounds, problems, needs, and enjoyment.
- Works with volunteers to expand and supplement the Activity program while including the largest number of residents possible.
- Involves residents’ families, the community, and volunteers in activities to decrease the loss to the resident in being removed from the community at large such as main dining room programming.
- Assists in maintaining all records relating to Activities, i.e., daily attendance, resident interviews.
- Encourages residents to participate in meaningful activities.
- Maintains the Activities area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Participates in meetings as required.
